Ingredients
500ml raw cashew nuts
250ml shredded coconut
500ml soft dates, pitted
15ml coconut oil
2½ml salt
5ml vanilla

Coconut date balls
Not only are they easy to make, but they are also a great source of energy and fiber to keep your little ones going throughout the day.
Method
- Process the nuts and coconut until crumbly. Add the dates, oil, vanilla and salt and process until a sticky batter is formed.
- Roll into small balls and roll in the shredded coconut.
- Store in the fridge in an airtight container. As an alternative, you can roll the balls in organic cocoa powder instead of coconut.
